Diverted by driftwood…
I can never resist beach combing and I’m always on the lookout for things that look like bits of birds. This owl probably started with the feet which are made out of half an old hair clip, and uses some old furniture tacks and various bits of driftwood and plastic.

Scar Rocks Gannet Colony
Fantastic boat trip on Thursday out to our local Gannet colony on the Scar or Scare rocks in Luce Bay. The rocks have approx 2,500 nest sites. Took lots of photos for later use! With many thanks to PIRSAC
