Description
This reduction linocut of Redshanks is 55cm x 27cm. It is from an edition of 18 and was inspired by a visit to Girvan Harbour in Ayrshire. What attracted me to this image was the striped backdrop, the juxtaposition of the natural world with a working harbour and the way the swan was drifting past the sleeping Redshanks.
