This print was conceived whilst waiting for the Bressay Ferry (“Fivla”) at Lerwick harbour, Sheltland. Common Terns are always around the harbour in the summer and this one was using the bright yelllow railing as a perch.
The print is a reduction linocut. It is approximately 31cm square and the edition size is 16. It is printed on Somerset Satin Paper using Schmincke inks.
