Description
This reduction woodcut was inspired by the Gannetry on Noss, Shetland. There are 12 prints in the edition and the print is approximately 37cm x 49cm. The viewer is above the bird, which is sitting on its nest. The sea and ledges with other nesting birds are far below. There are strands of fishing net in the nest, which is sadly quite usual nowadays.
