Description
This two day workshop will enable you to develop a multicolour linocut using the reduction process. This means that you will print a small edition from one plate, overprinting with several colours. You will use my Columbian relief printing press and I will discuss different registration methods with you. I will also explain how to print without a press. You’ll be using water soluble inks. Small class size means that you will get a great deal of personal attention.
Price is per person and includes a light vegetarian lunch and refreshments on both days. All materials included. The workshop lasts from 10 am to 4:30 each day.
Accommodation (which is not included) is available in Port William and nearby.
The maximum number of participants in this workshop is four.
I am afraid I can’t accept bookings for or on behalf of under 18s.
Do contact us before you make a booking if you have mobility issues or special dietary requirements and please note that printmaking is a physical activity that will involve working standing up and requires moderate hand strength.
Cancellation policy: If you cancel your course booking we will retain 50% of the
course fee. The remaining money can either be refunded or used to pay for another course. If you cancel within a week of the course start date you will lose your whole course fee.
If there are insufficient bookings for this workshop I will refund the fee in full, but you might wish to insure your other costs against cancellation. Similarly weather related cancellations will be refunded at my discretion to the maximum limit of the course fee.
